Chris Douglas

CEO/Co-founder

Chris brings 16 years of digital advertising agency experience to Hoperator. During this time he managed creative and digital teams to develop digital campaigns and products for some of the world’s largest brands. His experience spans brand building, user experience, and digital strategy. He also holds a patent for a social gaming application.

Michael Foltz

CTO/Co-founder

Besides being an accomplished software architect, Michael owned and managed a group of award-winning hostels in Poland. During this time, he led the development of their own property management software that they licensed to other accommodations. With Hoperator, Michael combines his experience as a technologist with his passion for the travel and hospitality industry.

Development Lead

Joseph brings over 8 years of development experience across all aspects of web and application development to the Hoperator team. From planning and testing to mentoring and deployment, Joseph has a track record of helping multiple startups efficiently scale and streamline their development teams from early stage to acquisition.

Full Stack Engineer

We are seeking a full-stack engineer to join our highly collaborative product development team. Experience building mobile-first web applications working with micro-services on one of the public clouds is a must. You will have a significant role and influence on our overall strategy and development of our hospitality messaging platform. You must be self-motivated, team friendly and able to work with minimal direction at times. Our environment is casual, but the pace is not. We are a startup delivering innovative technology for the global travel industry.

Responsibilities

  • Designing and implementing site architecture
  • Building and maintaining code and databases
  • Writing tested and documented JavaScript, HTML5, CSS and backend code
  • Collaborating with the founding team to deliver new features and capabilities


Requirements

  • 3+ years of engineering wizardry 
  • In love with Node.js
  • Experience with React, React Native and Mobx
  • Experience with AWS, RethinkDB, Socket.io and ElasticSearch
 

Independent Sales Rep

Are you a highly connected in the travel and hospitality industry or have a background in travel management or sales? We are seeking independent sales reps that have experience in software and technology. This is a commission-based position and is a great opportunity for additional income through lead referrals. Potential to move to full time sales position within Hoperator. We are a startup delivering innovative technology for the global travel industry.


Responsibilities

  • Develop basic knowledge of Hoperator software
  • Communicate value of Hoperator software to potential customer
  • Create sales introduction for Hoperator team


Requirements

  • Software, travel, hospitality sales background or relevant experience
  • Deep knowledge of hospitality or travel services sales process 
  • Understanding of live chat and messaging software landscape
